Most bathrooms are set up for how people used to live, not how they actually live now. A tub that never gets used takes up a huge chunk of floor space and leaves you with almost no real storage. That's exactly the situation we walked into on this one.

We pulled out the old tub area and replaced it with a full run of custom oak cabinetry. The result is a wide vanity with a built-in sink, flanked by tall tower cabinets on both sides. There's also a dedicated makeup or prep counter with knee clearance built right in - the kind of detail that makes a bathroom feel like it was actually designed for the people using it.

The countertops are a white marble-look surface that ties the whole wall together and keeps everything feeling clean and bright. Every drawer, door, and cabinet is solid oak with matching hardware. This isn't the kind of work you slap together in an afternoon - getting the layout right, the cabinets level, and the countertop seams tight takes real skill and planning.

When you add this much storage to a bathroom, the whole room changes. Things have a place. The counters stay clear. Getting ready in the morning actually gets easier. That's the kind of upgrade that pays off every single day.

This is what bathroom remodeling should look like - practical decisions that improve how the space functions, not just how it looks in a photo. If your bathroom isn't working the way it should, there's usually a smarter layout waiting to be built.
